Indian Lakes Weekly Refresh: 4/2 Neighborhood Stroll
Welcome back to another weekly refresh! For this April 2nd update, I wanted to keep things clean, simple, and close to home. Sometimes the best way to clear your head and reset for the week is just to step outside and appreciate the neighborhood.

It was a pretty calm, slightly overcast day out by the water—perfect weather to throw on the straw hat and get some fresh air. The ponds around the Indian Lakes homes are always a great spot to just stand and take in the quiet.

Of course, I wasn’t the only one out enjoying the peaceful morning. I spotted a couple of our local ducks gliding around the water near the homes. There is something incredibly relaxing about watching them leave those gentle ripples across the glassy surface. (If you’re ever curious about the different types of waterfowl we get around here, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has a great guide!). They definitely have the right idea when it comes to taking it easy.
☕ Fueling Up: The New Wawa on Nolte Road
My walk eventually took me over near the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Nolte Road. Even with a few cars passing through, the tree-lined roads out here keep that laid-back, St. Cloud charm front and center. I found another pair of ducks over this way, just enjoying the smooth water.
Speaking of Nolte Road, if you live in the area, you’ve probably noticed the exciting new addition down at the corner of Nolte and Canoe Creek Road: our brand-new Wawa at 2040 Nolte Rd! It’s part of that new retail development right by the Walmart Neighborhood Market. Having a spot so close to the Indian Lakes neighborhood to grab a quick morning coffee or a post-walk hoagie is incredibly convenient. It’s great seeing our side of St. Cloud continue to grow while still keeping its relaxed community feel.
